SYNTHESIS OF LPG FROM SYNTHESIS GAS


Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is a type of environmentally friendly fuels. Today, the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis enjoys high attention as an option for manufacturing of hydrocarbons from a synthesis gas that derived from coal or nature gas. In 1930s, Industrial application of the F-T process started in Germany. Generally, the F-T synthesis produces a wide range of olefins, paraffins and oxygenated compounds, and distribution of hydrocarbon product follows Schulz-Florry distribution. Recently it had been reported that hydrocarbons were directly synthesized from synthesis gas on complex catalyst composed of zeolite and methanol synthesis catalyst. In this work, we studied the selective synthesis C_3 and C_4 hydrocarbons from synthesis gas over hybrid catalysts consisting of zeolite and methanol synthesis catalyst.......
